VMD 827 - Beef Cow-Calf Summer Institute Elective2 Credit Hours
An intensive two-week field experience in production management of beef cow-calf operation, in partnership with Virginia Tech. Content focuses on the beef cattle industry, beef production, herd health reproductive performance, genetics, financial management and critical thinking skills.
Repeatability: May be repeated with consent of the instructor. Maximum 4 hours.
Registration Restriction(s): Veterinary Medicine Students only. Registration is with approval of the associate dean and BCCI faculty.
