LAW 924 - Criminal Pretrial Litigation3 Credit Hours Introduces the student to the day-to-day work of criminal lawyers. Through the use of hypothetical case files, students are introduced to the basic skills and concepts needed to prepare a criminal case for trial or for plea negotiations. Students conduct preliminary hearings; draft and argue pretrial motions including discovery motions, bail motions, motions based on the charging document, and motions to suppress; and prepare for and participate in a pretrial conference. Registration Restriction(s): Law students only.
