LAW 883 - Images of the Law2 Credit Hours The way lawyers and legal institutions are portrayed in popular media has important implications for litigants, juries, lawmakers, and lawyers. This seminar will look at portrayals of law and the legal profession in television and film, and discuss how those do – and do not – match institutions in the real world, as well as how they influence behavior among both lawyers and non-lawyers. Satisfies the perspective requirement. Registration Restriction(s): Law students only.
