RSM 512 - Legal Aspects of Sport

3 Credit Hours
Application of contract law, breach of contract, and monetary damages within sport and recreation settings: risk assessment and development of effective risk management strategies; development of contracts; and analysis of cases involving discrimination based upon gender, race, and age as well as protection of rights at amateur and professional levels of sport.
Registration Restriction(s): Recreation and Sport Management major or Kinesiology major.
