NURS 421 - Contemporary Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing

5 Credit Hours
Emphasis on using, integrating, and synthesizing knowledge to provide high quality evidenced based care to patients experiencing bio-psycho-social issues and mental disorders.

Contact Hour Distribution: 3 lectures and 2 labs.
(RE) Prerequisite(s): 361 and 382. 387 may be substituted for 382.
(RE) Corequisite(s): 406.
Registration Restriction(s): Bachelor of Science in Nursing – nursing major or Bachelor of Science – nursing major (accelerated track).
