Survey of the archaeology and art of Greece and the Greek-speaking areas from the Orientalizing through Hellenistic periods (c. 700-30 BC). Developments in architecture, sculpture, and vase painting seen in the context of changes in society. Archaeological evidence for daily life, economy, and political institutions.
