NUTR 412 - Food and Nutrition in the Community

3 Credit Hours
Influence of health characteristics, geographic, social, economic, educational and cultural factors on food and nutrition programming; relationship of community food and nutrition problems to programs and services for families and communities with particular attention to disease prevention; public policy (WC*). This is a writing intensive course for undergraduate students (WC*). This designation means that the course will require formal and informal writing assignments that total 5,000 words.
(RE) Prerequisite(s): 302 and 415.
Registration Restriction(s): Nutrition majors only.
