STAT 564 - Statistical Theory and Computation II

3 Credit Hours
Monte Carlo methods for inferential statistics, bootstrap methods, data partitioning and cross-validation, deviance confidence intervals, Bayesian inference, theory and application of generalized linear models with link functions, elastic net regression models, model fitting and selection. 
Recommended Background: STAT 563 or equivalent.
Registration Restriction(s): Minimum student level - graduate.
