Advanced IT Assurance and Assessment Graduate Certificate

The Advanced IT Assurance and Assessment certificate program for graduate students offers specialized knowledge and skills in advanced topics in IT Governance, IT Assurance, and Protection of IT Assets. The curriculum has been specially created to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively work in IT assurance in public accounting or in a corporate internal audit function, focused on IT.

Applicants can be currently admitted to a degree program at UTK or can apply solely for the Advanced IT Assurance and Assessment Graduate Certificate. Applicants are expected to have a baccalaureate degree in business or computer science. Students from other disciplines may be admitted but may be required to take prerequisite courses as described in the Graduate Catalog. Recommended background knowledge includes introductory information systems. Applicants may be admitted to the certificate or complete the certificate as part of an MS or PhD. Academic Standards
