American Studies Concentration, BA (Interdisciplinary Programs Major)

Courses in the concentration will be chosen in consultation with an American studies advisor, from a list approved by the program, in such a way that at least three courses help the student achieve a focus within the field. An additional 3 to 6 hours of AMST 493 Independent Study  are recommended for majors in their senior year. All majors and prospective majors should contact the chair of the program.
