LAW 927 - Interviewing, Counseling and Negotiation

3 Credit Hours
Development of conceptual and practical frameworks for understanding interviewing, counseling and negotiation, and lawyer’s role in tasks. Readings of different methods, strategies and perspectives from recent literature involving lawyering skills. Simulations and videotape critiques, drafting of documents. Relevant ethical issues and techniques of dispute resolution.
Comment(s): Not open to students who have taken 904 or 905.
