NURS 347 - Honors: Transcultural Nursing

2 Credit Hours
Honors version of 341. Focus on cultural perspectives in health and illness. Discussion of diversity and influence of culture on health promotion, maintenance, and restoration across the lifespan. Students work with course faculty and/or faculty mentor to develop a significant course project/presentation.

Registration Restriction(s): Bachelor of Science in Nursing-nursing major; admission to Chancellors Honors, Haslam Scholars, or College of Nursing Honors Program; minimum student level – junior.
