NURS 494 - Alternative Preceptorship

4 Credit Hours
An alternative to 490 for the registered nurse student. For experienced nurses, the practicum portion of the course can be met through preparation of a portfolio and documentation of course objectives having been met through professional practice.

Satisfies General Education Requirement: (WC)
Contact Hour Distribution: 2 lectures and 2 labs.
(RE) Prerequisite(s): 305 and 471.
Comment(s): For RN-BSN students who have successfully completed all ACE proficiencies or the comparable course work. Nursing 477 may be substituted for 471.
Registration Restriction(s): Bachelor of Science in Nursing ― nursing major.
